Once you have installed McAfee, it will ask you to register your product. Please fill in the blanks with your information and then hit 'Submit'.

Now, Select any options you want. If you wish to recieve emails from McAfee, select which ever ones you wish, otherwise, uncheck all of the boxes and hit 'Submit'.

It will now give you what you have submitted to McAfee (your information will be in the gray boxes). Hit 'Finish' when complete. It may not be a bad idea to copy down the user name and password for future referance.

Now open up the Antivirus program and select all the options as shown in the picuture below. You will want to scan everything possible each virus can. We recommend running this software at least once a week.

Your computer will begin to check all of it's files for viruses. If it finds any they will apear in the bottom half of the window.

Once the scan is complete you will have a message pop up if no files were infected. It will say 'Virus Scan it complete'. Hit okay and then exit McAfee. If you do have viruses, select all of the files (be sure there are checks in all the check boxes) and then follow the buttons to remove them. Once that is complete then close McAfee and keep on computing. If McAfee is unable to remove the virus or fix the problem, you may need to schedual and appointment and take your computer in to be looked at. Not all problems are as sever as they seem.
